Additional Policies to Round Out Your Coverage, Tailored to You.
There's no one-size-fits-all strategy.
Let's find the coverage that fits your specific needs.
For ACA / Under-65 Clients
Dental Insurance
Covers routine cleanings, exams, and a share of costs for fillings, crowns, or root canals. Most ACA marketplace medical plans don't include adult dental, so this is usually the first add-on people ask about.
Vision Insurance
Helps cover eye exams, glasses, and contacts. Same story as dental — rarely bundled into marketplace medical plans.
Term Life Insurance
Pays a death benefit to beneficiaries if the policyholder dies during the policy term (usually 10–30 years). Popular with people who have a mortgage, young kids, or a spouse who depends on their income.
Accident Insurance
Pays a fixed cash benefit for injuries from covered accidents (broken bones, ER visits, stitches), regardless of what health insurance already paid. Money goes straight to the client to use however they need.
Critical Illness Insurance
Pays a lump sum if the policyholder is diagnosed with a covered serious illness (heart attack, stroke, cancer). Meant to cover the costs health insurance doesn't — lost income, travel for treatment, deductibles.
Hospital Indemnity Insurance
Pays a set cash amount per day (or per stay) for a hospital admission, on top of regular medical coverage. Helps offset high deductibles on ACA plans.
Short-Term Disability Insurance
Replaces a portion of income if someone can't work due to a covered illness or injury for a limited period, usually a few months.
For Medicare Clients
Dental, Vision, and Hearing (DVH) Plans
Standalone coverage for the three things Original Medicare almost entirely leaves out. Very commonly bundled together as one add-on policy.
Hospital Indemnity / Cancer, Heart Attack & Stroke Plans
Same concept as the ACA-side versions above, but priced and underwritten for an older population — pays cash directly to the client for a covered event.
Long-Term Care Insurance (or Hybrid Life/Ltc Policies)
Helps cover the cost of home health aides, assisted living, or nursing care — costs Medicare does not cover at all beyond very limited skilled nursing stays.
Final Expense (Burial) Insurance
A small whole life policy, typically $5,000–$25,000, meant to cover funeral and burial costs so the family isn't left with the bill. Popular because it's easier to qualify for than traditional life insurance at older ages.
